If the purpose of a tuition centre is to train students to get top grades in the exam, and the purpose of an enrichment centre is to add joy and excitement in the school subject, then at Science Buddies we help our students get top grades by experiencing enjoyable lessons.
So we are both a tuition centre and an enrichment centre all rolled into one!
There are not many other programmes in Singapore that is able to give the right balance of interesting lessons and proper exam training like we do.

We have incorporated many motivational activities in our lessons to help your child overcome his/her dislike for the subject. He/she will realise that our lessons are very different from what they experience in school. And he/she will start to change their mindset about the subject.

Our Concept Mapping Technique™ and Brainpower™ are effective in helping our students score higher marks.
Additionally, we also provide practice papers to give them enough exposure and training in answering questions for the exams. Your child will walk into the exam hall confident of doing well.
Are your teachers trained?
Each lesson is accompanied by a detailed lesson plan and teaching aids that will allow any trained teacher to conduct a good lesson. Additionally, all our teachers have gone through compulsory training programmes that ensure effective teaching of the syllabus.
Do you provide worksheets?
The focus of our programmes centre on our students' understanding of the concepts and development of their thinking skills that will help them answer challenging questions.
Our worksheets are designed to encourage critical thinking. Each worksheet is maintained at optimum levels so that our students have enough practice.
When going through the worksheets we don’t just look for correct answers. We look for quality answers so that our students become good at expressing the concepts on paper.
My child starts Science in Primary 3. Why do you have programmes for kids as young as 5 years old?
Many parents have the misconception that Science is not as important as the other subjects in PSLE exams. Actually Science is given as much weightage as the other subjects. Therefore doing badly in Science can affect the overall scores in the PSLE results. Read more
Do you only take in only students with good grades?
No, we don’t have a discriminatory policy. We accept students of all abilities because we believe we can make them interested in Science and Maths. Once they are interested in the subject we will motivate and guide them to improve on their grades.
